The mid-wide Bottle Rocket is the go to stick for method poking, side hit mashing, and white room slashing all over the resort. K2 baked in 20 tip-to-tail carbon stringers, placed K2’s pre-cambered Ollie Bar™ tech in-between the bindings for pop and a playful flex, and our Carbon Torque Forks™ deliver precision power transfer to the edges.
**Downsize 3-5cm from your regular size due to Volume Shift Shape**
Twin Rocker Profile - A versatile twin-rocker design built to dominate any freestyle line. Just enough rise in the tip and tail to create a loose, buttery feel without sacrificing pop and response.
Flex Rating – 5/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
Volume Shift™ – Volume is moved from the tips and tails to underfoot for a wider, shorter design than traditional snowboard shapes, increasing mobility and maneuverability for better slashing and more lines through the trees.
BAP Core – K2 blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that's strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
ICG™ 20 Triax Carbon Glass – Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass layups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
Triaxial Glass – A glass laminate with diagonal layers that adds torsional stiffness for increased stability and improved edge hold. The fibers three layers are woven at 45, 45 and 0 degrees. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
Carbon Torque Forks – K2 keeps their carbon simple by placing it from the binding to the contact points of the board for a more responsive and stable ride.
Ollie Bar – The Ollie Bar is a totally new approach to adding pop to a snowboard. Built in a pre-loaded cambered shape, it solves the concern that rockered boards don't have the pop that cambered boards have. Strong ollies and pressing power don't come from the tail alone. The backbone center section is actually more critical for smooth, even pressure. You have to try it to believe the pop.
Hybritech™ – Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewalls along the running surface that flow into the nose and tail, providing low swing-weight while extending the wood core all the way to the tip of the board for optimized turning initiation and durability.
Sintered 4000 – K2's sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
